Duffman's A-Z of Jestival 2007..

AIDS

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome - joint winner of MVP (with Col) brought down some huge hucks and was awesome all weekend.

Bouncy Castle

The Jester's love their bouncy castles, as do we. Castle's were set up at the pitches and the party allowing for layout calls, bouncy speeches and the epic Viking-Shaolin battle.

Col's Wrist

Col did not break his wrist this time.

Durham

Ad's team provided tough opposition in the Semi Final. They played confidently through our zone but we eventually saw them off 10-8 ( I think)

EMA

E sucks

Final

Unfortunately Binge's 2nd final in two years didnt bring about the result we wanted (we lost 10-8) but you can't fault the huge effort and great spirit we showed. The prize for 2nd place was the DVD Beethoven's 2'nd which was given to A Game winner Jo.

Gary

Rumour of Gary's appearance seemed to scare off Lauren from joining us over the weekend!

Hosts

Cheers to Sam & Joe for putting us up and putting up with us and being the ideal hosts

Ice-cream Van

The ice-cream van showed up both days, making enough money to send his kids through college.

Jestival

Well organised, great friendly atmosphere, loadsa fun and awesome to the max. Anyone who didn't go missed out ;)

Knackered

Every binger ran their socks off. Thanks to Luke & Ross for joining in and to Fran for helping out in the final. Also worthy mention to Col for just sitting out 4 points all weekend!

Loaded Dog

The Friday night pub where I was asked for ID, Linda was spotted talking to herself and the yellow card drink system was abused no end.

Macken

Winner of MSP, creator of space, 2 times MAC line finalist, and overall great guy, great guy.

Nintendo 64

After party entertainment was provided with drunken 4 player 007.

Offence

Pretty sharp offence all weekend, brought about by dynamic cutting techniques, making space (Bobby Mac) and some awesome hucking, especially by Micheal in the final.

Party

Binge partied hard all weekend, with all teams making a great effort with costumes. £1 drinks went down a treat :)

Quer Warm

Twas quer warm all weekend.

Roast Pig

Shaolin Monks

After a gruelling sword and beer skills session at the pitches, we got fitted out with our costumes thanks to Shiv and her Naas sweat shop and partied it up old eastern warrior style all night.

The Million Dollar Question

Q Would I sleep with Bobby Mac for a million euro?
A. No.

Ultimate

The real winner of the weekend.

Vikings

The Trinity Vikings may have won Spirit and Party but they lost the great Shaolin Viking Battle of 2007.

Warwick Bears

Deserved winners of the final and Rambo's First Blood DVD. Played at a really high tempo and spirit throughout the final and ensured we couldn't claw back from their 5-0 lead.

X Marks The Spot

Where myself and Shiv spent an hour digging with a lolly pop stick and a sword for the rubber end of my stool. It wasn't very exciting but it happened none the less.

Your Turn

Made a welcomed enthusiastic return to the Saturday night party before soar throats decided to call it a day and move onto Next

Zone

The Binge whipped out a pretty strong zone to see off many teams. Point blocks and deep deep worked a charm, especially in the final.
